The Art of Adventure (2025) follows renowned wildlife artist Robert Bateman and biologist Bristol Foster as they embark on a globe-spanning expedition in 1957 in their custom Land Rover, the “Grizzly Torque”. The film combines archival footage, interviews with the now nonagenarian adventurers, and Bateman’s artwork to chronicle a 14,000+ kilometre journey across Africa, India, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Beyond the physical journey, the documentary explores themes of friendship, environmental stewardship, and the transformative power of adventure.
