DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, Oct 24\, 2026 – The Art of Adventure – Orpheum Theatre \nCost: $10.00 cash at the door \nAlison Reid’s The Art of Adventure is a captivating documentary that blends historical adventure\, environmental activism\, and artistic expression into a visually and emotionally engaging journey. \nThe Art of Adventure (2025) follows renowned wildlife artist Robert Bateman and biologist Bristol Foster as they embark on a globe-spanning expedition in 1957 in their custom Land Rover\, the “Grizzly Torque”.  The film combines archival footage\, interviews with the now nonagenarian adventurers\, and Bateman’s artwork to chronicle a 14\,000+ kilometre journey across Africa\, India\, Australia\, and Southeast Asia. Beyond the physical journey\, the documentary explores themes of friendship\, environmental stewardship\, and the transformative power of adventure.
