Thanksgiving Leaf Lantern

Date: Wednesday October 7th from 2 to 4pm Cost: $40.00 per person – includes materials, 10 spots available age from 12 years minimum Instructor: Ruth Langwieser Medium: paper mache/ leaves During this two-hour activity, you will create your own personal autumn lantern. Starting with a basic paper-lantern shape, you will decorate and transform it with seasonal elements. Chose your own style: Thanksgiving inspired: incorporate colourful autumn leaves and paint it with warm seasonal colours Halloween inspired: create a spooky lantern by adding black silhouettes, bats, ghosts, or design other personal Halloween shapes. Let your activity shine and take home a unique lantern to brighten up your autumn evenings! POLICIES: Refund: If you are unable to attend class for any reason, please notify the Arts Council via text at 306-634-3942. Our current office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30- 2:30 so response may not be immediate. 48 hrs. notice prior to class is required for a refund – our artists must prep to bring you these wonderful classes! There will be no refunds issued for less than 48 hrs. notice. Cancellation: If a class is cancelled due to insufficient registration, instructor illness, weather, etc., we will schedule a make-up class, offer another class, or refund fees if preferred. HEADS UP! Students are asked to dress in casual, comfortable clothing. Art making is often a messy process! The Estevan Arts Council and its instructors love to promote art! Therefore, we reserve the right to use photographs and videos that are taken during classes for the purpose of social media and print advertising. If this is an issue, you must notify the instructor at the class.
